There is suffering in attachment.
There is suffering in letting go.
There is suffering in being parted from that which is pleasing.
There is suffering in letting go of that which is impermanent.
There is suffering in being united with that which is displeasing.
There is suffering in holding on to that which is impermanent.
What is pleasing?
Is what is deemed pleasing truly pleasing?
Pleasing according to what? Pleasing according to whom?
What is displeasing?
Is what is deemed displeasing truly displeasing?
Displeasing according to what? Displeasing according to whom?
Spiritual growth is physically painful.
Spiritual growth is mentally painful.
Spiritual growth is emotionally painful.
Growth is painful.
There is inevitable pain along the Path of spiritual growth.
The Path seems difficult for as long as it does not seem easy.
The Path seems easy for as long as it does not seem difficult.
The Path seems both easy and difficult.
The Path is neither easy nor difficult.
Easy and Difficult are the same.
Easy and Difficult are opposites.
Easy and Difficult are both extremes.
Such extremes define each other.
Such extremes do not define the Path.
Such extremes exhist only outside the Path.
For as long as one seeks such extremes,
